Soft fascia on your Gilbert home?
Fascia rot is almost never just fascia. It's the visible end of a water path through the roof edge — failed flashing, undersized gutter, or a leak source above the line. We open it up, fix what's wrong above, and tie new material into flashing that doesn't fail again next monsoon.
Monsoon water at the roof edge
Gilbert is dry on average — but the monsoon storms that come are intense. Water sheets off tile roofs in 15-minute downpours, overwhelms gutters, gets behind drip-edge flashing, and hits the back of the fascia. Three to five years of that and you have visible damage from the ground.
The damage you can see is usually 30–50% of the real scope. We document the rest before we quote.

Gilbert fascia, soffit & trim FAQ
- How much does Gilbert fascia replacement cost?
- Single-elevation repair (30–50 linear ft) typically $1,800–$3,800. Full-perimeter single-story $4,500–$9,500 depending on substrate work.
- Can you just paint over soft fascia?
- No — and we won't. Paint over rotted wood traps moisture. If the wood's soft it gets replaced.
- Will the new fascia match my existing paint?
- Yes — color-matched, two-coat finish, blended at the joints. Most jobs you can't tell new from old after the touch-up.
- What if you find a roof leak above the fascia?
- We flag it before closing the wall back up. Either include the roof fix in scope or refer the roofing portion to a partner with documented handoff. No 'not my problem' on the upstream cause.
