Single window through whole-house package

  • DESERT-RATED LOW-E GLAZING

  • AAMA-CERTIFIED INSTALL

Frame, sash, weatherstripping, and flashing detail installed to AAMA/FGIA certification — the install matters as much as the window. Workmanship warranty in writing.

  • ONE DEDICATED PM

Window replacement scope, single to whole-house

Most East Valley window projects are one of four shapes — a single failed window, a multi-window package, a whole-house replacement, or a window + door + slider bundle. Each has different install logistics. Tap a scope to see how we detail it for the desert.

Built for Phoenix sun and your APS bill

Window performance in the East Valley is dominated by solar heat gain. Dual-pane low-E coatings — per Wikipedia's window entry and the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Star window guidance — reduce solar heat transfer by 30–50% versus uncoated glazing. Spec the right coating for each elevation (more aggressive on south + west, lighter on north) and the APS bill follows.

Frames and install matter as much as glass. We install to AAMA/FGIA window certification standards so weatherstripping, flashing detail at the head and sill, and shim placement all carry the install warranty. Wikipedia: Insulated glazing covers the basics of why dual-pane fails when the seal goes — that failure mode is on us under the workmanship warranty, not on the homeowner.

Sequencing with paint and stucco is the part most contractors miss. Window replacement that touches the stucco needs the patch cured before paint. Our dedicated PM names the order on the proposal so you can see the schedule, not guess at it. Workmanship warranty is five years in writing, Licensed in Arizona, verifiable through the ROC contractor search.

What pairs with a window package

Window replacement rarely stands alone. Exterior painting is the most common pair — fresh paint on the frame surround and the elevation around the install. Stucco repair at the rough opening when the prior install left damage we need to chase to the substrate.

Doors + sliders are the next pair. Door replacement often runs at the same time as windows so the trim, paint, and weatherstrip detail all match. For a bigger scope, see the whole-house exterior remodel pillar that bundles windows, paint, stucco, fascia, and roof under one PM.

Frequently asked

Asked and answered.

What brand of windows do you install?
Brand and product line are named on the proposal. We typically spec major vinyl dual-pane brands rated for AZ desert exposure — exact lineup depends on opening count, structural envelope, and budget. We do not lock you into a single house brand; the right window for the elevation is the spec.
Will replacement windows lower my APS bill?
Yes, materially — particularly on south + west elevations where the solar heat gain reduction is largest. Magnitude depends on existing windows (single-pane vs aged dual-pane), insulation, and HVAC condition. We do not promise a specific dollar amount because too many other variables affect the bill.
Do you handle the City permit?
Like-for-like replacement (same opening size, same operation type) typically does not require a permit. Opening enlargement, retrofit egress, or structural changes do. We confirm with the City of Gilbert / Chandler / Mesa before crews arrive and any permit cost is named on the proposal.
What is the warranty?
Five-year written workmanship warranty on the install — that covers the flashing detail, weatherstripping, and any leak or air infiltration caused by installation. Manufacturer warranties on the window unit, glazing, and hardware pass through directly to you with the brand-specific terms.
