Rock features in Gilbert and the East Valley
Boulder placement, dry creek beds, decomposed-granite fields, decorative rock. Done right, it reads as desert architecture — done wrong, it reads as a parking-lot apron with rocks on it. The difference is in the base and the grade.
Our scope
Boulders, dry creeks, DG fields
Boulder placement (1–12′): we source from local quarries, set with a skid-steer or excavator depending on size, and key the base into the grade so the boulder doesn't shift when monsoon sheet-flow hits it.
Dry creek beds: graded channels lined with weed barrier and sized rock that actually move water during a storm. Decomposed granite fields: compacted DG over weed barrier, edged clean, drainage planned.
