Walkways in Gilbert and the East Valley

Front entries, side-yard paths, pool surrounds. The walk is the first thing your guests step on and the last thing they see leaving — it should read with the house, not fight it. Graded, drained, finished to last.

What we do

Finishes that match the house

Poured concrete (broom, stamped, exposed aggregate), paver walks (concrete or natural stone), flagstone in mortar or dry-set. The right finish depends on the architecture, the budget, and how much rain you want to move off it.

Every walk is sized to its purpose — 36" minimum for one-person paths, 48–60" for entry walks where two people meet, 60"+ for pool surrounds. Graded 1–2% away from the house so the next monsoon doesn't run toward the foundation.

Common questions

Asked and answered

What's the cheapest walkway material?
Broom-finish concrete runs $8–$12 per square foot. Stamped concrete $14–$22. Paver walks $16–$24. Flagstone $22–$38. The 'cheapest' install isn't always the cheapest over 15 years — base and drainage do more for longevity than the surface choice.
Can you replace a cracked concrete walkway?
Yes. We demo the existing slab, evaluate the subgrade, fix any drainage issue that caused the crack, and pour or set new. Patch-over-crack repairs telegraph through in a season; we replace at the joint instead.
